Working in the remote services industry often means you are away from your family and friends for long stretches of time. The old adage “Absence makes the heart grow fonder” is not always the case and long distance can take its toll on relationships. You will need to carefully evaluate the pros and cons for your family before applying for a remote based role.

T.I Hospitality will provide you with single person living quarters while you are working in a remote location. Rooms are serviced weekly and linen, towels and basic toiletries will be replaced.

You are also entitled to free, 3 x prepared meals each day.

A majority of remote villages have recreation facilities and include gyms, access to sporting equipment and courts, as well as a social club.

Remote sites means the area you will be working in is extremely isolated. You may be hundreds of kilometres if not days away from banks, post offices, shopping centres and pharmacies. The supplies you take with you will need to last for the time period of your roster.

You may find yourself working in remote areas of the NT or WA and during the summer, outside temperatures can often exceed 50 degrees C. Many of the roles provided by T.I Hospitality involve aspects of outdoor work.

Working in extreme temperatures can be unbearable at times but T.I Hospitality will ensure you have all the required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and water to reduce the chances of heat exhaustion, sunburn and dehydration.
